Digital Gram Pratinidhi (DGP) is an initiative by RAMINFO DIGITECH benefiting Rural India by providing G2C and B2C services through technology and opportunity. For a villager, seeking the services at different locations according to the availability means spending time, energy and money at loss of pay. DGP bridges the gap with an access to all these services in a device carried to a villager’s doorstep. Digitally literate people from the local community are identified, trained and employed to provide services including Adangal, birth and death certificates, electricity bill payments and property tax payments, voter and ration cards. To sum up, DGP manages villager’s requirements at their convenience and equips eligible persons with employment, thereby bettering Rural India.
Partnering with ESD
RamInfo Digitech had a discussion during October 2017 with Director, Electronic Services Deliverable (ESD, Meeseva), Information Technology and Electronic Communication Department (IT&EC) of Andhra Pradesh. As part of discussion RamInfo Digitech got approval for the pilot DGP project at 5 places of West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh. RamInfo Digitech was honored to get permission to deploy 30 DGP’s for the mentioned locations to conduct the Mee-Seva transactions by Director, ESD, IT&EC, Andhra Pradesh.
Looking at the rural connectivity and door step citizen services through DGP program, the Director ESD Government of Andhra Pradesh has graciously funded 2/3rd of the program and 1/3rd by the RamInfo Digitech. These funds are utilized for development of DGP kits, Software, stationary and all necessary accessories for Digital Gram Prathinidhi operations.
